1. Who we are and what this policy covers
CYIN Solutions Pvt. Ltd. (“CYIN”, “we”, “us” or “our”) provides cyber security, artificial intelligence, blockchain, training, consultancy and related digital services. This policy applies to our public website, CYRA assistant, contact forms, Academy catalogue, certificate verification and connected administrative services.
It does not govern third-party websites or platforms reached through external links. Their own privacy terms apply.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Business enquiries: name, email address, selected service and the message you submit.
- CYRA registration: full name, email address, 10-digit Indian mobile number, consent date, first and last access dates, and account status.
- CYRA conversations: questions and recent conversation context needed to generate an answer. CYIN’s application does not intentionally save conversation text in its database, and requests are sent to the AI provider with model-response storage disabled.
- Academy and certificates: course and programme records and, where a certificate is issued, the learner name, course, issue date, certificate ID, verification status and ledger reference.
Information collected automatically
Our hosting, security and authentication systems may process limited technical information such as IP address, browser or device type, request time, security events and essential session technologies. This helps operate and protect the service.
3. How and why we use information
- To respond to enquiries and provide requested services.
- To register authorised CYRA users and deliver AI-generated guidance.
- To operate courses, programme records and certificate verification.
- To secure our systems, prevent abuse, investigate incidents and maintain service reliability.
- To meet legal obligations and establish, exercise or defend legal rights.
- To improve our website and services using proportionate, non-intrusive analysis.
We use consent where required and otherwise process information when necessary to provide a requested service, meet a legal obligation or pursue a legitimate operational or security purpose permitted by applicable law.
4. CYRA and artificial intelligence
CYRA sends your question and limited recent chat context to an artificial intelligence service provider to generate a reply. Do not enter passwords, payment-card details, government identity numbers, confidential client data, source-code secrets or other highly sensitive information.
AI answers can be incomplete or inaccurate. CYRA is intended for education and general guidance, not case-specific legal, financial, medical or other regulated professional advice.
5. When we share information
We do not sell or rent personal information. We may share only what is reasonably necessary with:
- hosting, database, security, authentication and AI service providers acting for us;
- authorised CYIN personnel who need access for their work;
- professional advisers, regulators, CERT-In, courts or law-enforcement authorities when required or permitted by law; and
- a successor organisation in a genuine merger, reorganisation or transfer, subject to appropriate protection.
Some providers may process information outside India. Where applicable, we use reasonable contractual and technical safeguards and comply with lawful cross-border restrictions.
6. Public certificate verification
A person with a valid certificate ID may view limited credential information, including learner name, course, issue date, verification status and ledger reference. This is necessary to confirm authenticity. Please contact us if a displayed record is inaccurate or should be reviewed.
7. Retention and security
We retain information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose collected, ongoing service delivery, security, dispute resolution and legal or regulatory requirements. Retention periods vary by record type. We apply reasonable administrative, technical and organisational safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
8. Your choices and rights
Subject to applicable law, you may ask us to access, correct, update or delete personal information, withdraw consent, or raise a grievance. We may verify your identity before acting and may retain information where a legal or security exception applies.
Send requests to admin@cyinsolutions.in with the subject “Privacy Request”. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already lawfully completed, but may prevent us from providing a related feature.
9. Children and young learners
Our educational services may be relevant to students. A person under 18 should use the service with the involvement and consent of a parent, guardian or authorised institution. We do not knowingly seek children’s personal data without appropriate authorisation. A parent or guardian may contact us to request review or deletion.
10. Cookies and external links
We may use essential cookies or similar session technologies for authentication, security and core functionality. External social-media and other third-party links are governed by the third party’s own practices.
11. Indian data-protection framework
We aim to process personal data consistently with applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and rules or notifications brought into force from time to time. Legal requirements can change, and this policy will be updated where necessary.
12. Changes and contact
We may revise this policy when our services or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top identifies the current version. Material changes will be communicated through an appropriate website notice.
